Tissue Paper Scribbles
When we were unpacking the supplies to make collages recently, I noticed the sad stack of white tissue paper sitting on the shelf that we always ignore. We go through tons and tons of colorful tissue papers every year in The Studio, but this white stack continues to gather dust.
I started brainstorming ways we could prepare the papers to use in our tissue paper collage projects. For this activity we used store bought white tissue paper but any colored papers, even crumpled leftover tissue from holiday or birthday presents, will work.
Our favorite crayons in The Studio are Faber-Castell Beeswax Crayons.
If your papers are recycled, flatten them out the best you can before drawing on them.
It is much easier to draw your designs and cut them down to size afterwards.
Use the scribble papers any way you would use regular tissue paper!
