(3 PDPs) Discover strategies for engaging very young children in book sharing and imaginative play. Participants will experience an interactive story time, learn how to select playful picture books that support early learning skills, and consider ways to extend book sharing experiences through multisensory play and material exploration.
This is a 2-day session, taking place July 17th and July 19th from 7:00 - 8:30 pm.
A limited number of workshop spots are free for preschool teachers and elementary teachers in Title 1 Schools through The Carle Community Fund. Scholarships are awarded at random and offered on a quarterly basis. Application deadline is June 15.
