The Carle is pleased to welcome author/illustrator Wendell Minor as guest speaker for the 10th anniversary of the Barbara Elleman Research Library (BERL) Lecture. His presentation, A “Minor” Retrospective, reflects on his five decades in the publishing world. Minor will talk about his early career as a book cover designer, and his transition to children’s book illustrator and author of over 60 award winning books.

Wendell Minor

Wendell Minor is the award-winning author/illustrator of over sixty books for children. He was the 2018-2019 Artist Laureate of the Norman Rockwell Museum and his work has been exhibited in various museums and galleries throughout the country.
