Enjoy an extra special evening at The Carle with art, music, dancing, and food!
Held on the third Thursdays in July and August, Summer Nights at The Carle provides evening access to the entire museum – from the galleries and art studio to the bookshop and Bobbie’s Meadow.
Inspired by the special exhibition Fuzuê! Invention & Imagination in the Art of Roger Mello, guests will experience cultural highlights from Brazil. Listen to the diverse repertoire of music from Quarteto de Samba that includes Samba, Forró, Brazilian funk, Choro, and Bossa Nova. Try some new dance moves with performer Luana Dias David!
Quarteto de Samba will be playing in the courtyard. Guests are welcome to bring their own blankets or lawn chairs.
Guests can enjoy a picnic in Bobbie’s Meadow or The Carle Café, or sample Brazilian flavors from Hampshire College Catering, available while samples last. Popsicles from Crooked Stick Pops are also available for purchase.
Fuzuê! Invention & Imagination in the Art of Roger Mello is made possible through the generous support of the Garcia Family Foundation.
